For centuries the blue depths of the sea have been extremely generous to the inhabitants of Ližnjan, many of whom spent their lifetimes working as fishermen. The artifice of fishing and the skill of preparing fish food has been successfully preserved in the traditional feast of Ližnjan that brings plenty of excitement and entertainment in a single day. Sailing regatta "Ližnjanka ", Fishermen's night, and Brodetto cup Ližnjan will be held on July 9th in the bay of Kuje to the joy of all who looked forward to its return.
